What I Do
I offer writing, narrative design and worldbuilding services for video games, having worked in these areas on multiple published titles with both indie and AAA studios.
I’m particularly drawn to playful and historical games with non-linear narratives. But if your project is set in a humourless future and plotted on an entirely undeviating beeline, please don’t hesitate to reach out! Above all else, if you love your project, I want to hear from you.
I’m available for project-based contracts or to work with you on a retainer basis.

Writing
I have extensive experience writing both dialogue and in-game text, from intriguingly ignorable background chatter to heartfelt encounters between fan-favourite protagonists. I can write dialogue which captures the voices of your franchise’s existing characters and text which echoes the tone and dynamics of your world, or populate your story with something entirely new.
Narrative Design
I’ve worked on many complex, non-linear narratives. I can manage sprawling storylines, document them to clarify the direction for the rest of the team, and deliver their technical implementation. I can assist on all levels of this process, from producing broader visual representations of the flow of the game, down to specific realisation of the system in code and in engine.
Worldbuilding & Lore
From historical settings to the universes of existing franchises such as CDPR’s The Witcher, I’ve conducted in-depth research into many worlds and produced extensive and workable lore documents. I can help develop the backdrop to your game’s stories, and build a world which feels both authentic to the source and distinctive within its genre.
